Steps to open Dubai real estate company
Step 1 - Trade Name Reservation
You have to select three options for your Dubai real estate trade name and submit to Dubai Economic Department for approval.
Step 2 - Initial Approval
After Dubai Economic Department has approved your Trade Name, you have to submit the following documents for Initial Trade Licence Approval:
- Creation of Memorandum of Association
- Trade name reservation
- Brief business plan
- Intended activities of the company
- Passport of the applicant
- Visa of the applicant
- Local Sponsor passport and emirates identity documents
Step 3 - Good conduct Certificate
You have to obtain a Dubai Police Good Conduct Certificate or commonly known as Police Clearance.
Step 4 Dubai Land Department - RERA Approval
You have to do the RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Agency) training and development course. This will offer your the RERA Approval and at the same time apply for Dubai Land Department approval.
Step 5 - Dubai office rental
Select your office from which you wish to conduct your business from and sign the lease agreement. Thereafter you have to register on the online portal called Ejari after which you will receive by email Ejari contract,
Step 6 - Issuance of Real Estate Trade Licence
Hand over the Ejari plus, Tenancy agreement and Initial Approval and Dubai Economic Department will issue your trade licence. The entire process can take up to 6 months, depends on your urgency.
